NIAGARA FALLS

One of the places icon from a trip to the east coast, specifically, by the northeastern United States, is Niagara Falls, which have had the chance to visit from the side of Canada during my trip to the United States summer 2015.

But before I already had the chance to let your imagination about how they were flying, after reading the experience of the visit of Niagara Falls experienced by my friend Salvador, while traveling coast to coast, which traveled from the US side .

One of the activities offered on this visit is the opportunity to fly over Niagara Falls in a helicopter, in a similar deal to that offered to fly by helicopter over the Grand Canyon.
Around Niagara Falls there are several companies offering tourist services with similar features.

Flying over Niagara Falls

The heliport is located just minutes from the falls on the Canadian side, and the flight takes you over the river to the American side, where you can see the Bridal Veil Falls, then head to the most famous waterfalls, on the Canadian side, the Horseshoe Falls, and Horseshoe Waterfall.

 Niagara Falls Helicopter

The flight times are between 10 and 16 hours and the helicopter flight prices (2015) range between 86 and 136 euros per person, depending on the number of people who contract while the tour. Children under four years fly free.

As in the case of the Grand Canyon, if you want to ensure the availability of flights to make the trip in a day or time certain, it is almost essential to the online purchase of tickets for helicopter Falls, more if you plan to visit the falls in time holiday or weekend.

YOSEMITE - HELPFUL TIPS FOR YOUR VISIT NATIONAL PARK

One of the most popular tours on a trip to the west coast of the United States is the Yosemite National Park in California.

In this park you will find lush forests, which mainly include the giant redwoods. And also, you will see large rocky granite mountains, the most famous being called El Capitan.

And if you decide to visit Yosemite in spring, you can enjoy mighty falls, the volume of water is significantly reduced in summer.

Below I detail various recommendations and advice to keep in mind to visit Yosemite National Park:

 Directions to Yosemite

Yosemite is located east of San Francisco.

Your route by car for California usual be accessed from that city on Route 49. If you come from Los Angeles, must go to Fresno, then take Route 41 that will take you to the park.

Another option when planning the route to visit Yosemite National Park is considered an intermediate stage on the trip between San Francisco and Las Vegas.

This option takes you to cross the national park called Tioga Road route, then take Route 345 that leads to the National Park Death Valley (Death Valley) and Nevada road.

 Best time to visit Yosemite

When planning your visit Yosemite, it is important that you consider the time of year, as in much of it do not have access to some of the most interesting areas for road closures due to inclement weather.

Distances Yosemite National Park

It will be useful to know the distances from Yosemite National Park to highlights of the West Coast of the United States:

Distance from San Francisco to Yosemite: 304 kilometers, three hours

Distance from Los Angeles to Yosemite: 497 kilometers, five hours

Distance from Las Vegas to Yosemite: 793 kilometers, eight hours

Distance from Death Valley to Yosemite: 468 kilometers six hours
