Known as "the country of free men", Thailand was never conquered by any foreign power, which today remains a pride for its happy people who never lose their smile.
"Sawasdeekrab" if they say it is a man or "Sawasdeeka" if a woman will be the first words you hear in Thai, it is the main opening greeting and is accompanied by a symbolic gesture through which you join the palms hands, place them at the height of the nose, while you make a slight tilt forward as a sign of respect. And after greeting MADNESS! Bangkok will impress you for being one of the largest metropolises in Asia. Noisy, chaotic and with a strange mixture between its modern skyscrapers and shopping malls and tradition to find a temple and a haven of peace in the middle of unbridled city.
Divided by the hub of Bangkok, the Chao Phraya river huge, your visit to the city will also be divided under two purposes: culture and shopping. So as we have no time to lose, it takes note of everything you'll find on your trip to Bangkok.

- One of them is the Royal Quarter, located in the city center, is one of the best samples between Buddhism and monarchy. Here is the official residence of the King of Thailand and the most famous of the temples of Bangkok, the Emerald Buddha, with more than 200 years old, is the country's largest religious monument. And although few measuring 75 centimeters sculpture may disappoint more than one, but not the magical environment that welcomes it. Contrary to what it may seem, the Kings do not live in the Grand Palace, although this spectacular building is still used for receptions and official events.
- Outside the enclosure but really close, we found the Wat Pho, the oldest and largest temple in Bangkok. Its historic walls enclose one of the most photographed Buddha figures of the city, the Reclining Buddha, which is the position that precedes the Nirvana in the Buddhist religion. also holds the honor of being the largest in Thailand, it reaches 46 meters long and almost 15 high and is completely covered with gold leaf.
